| Our tables are hand-made from solid reclaimed pine or new character oak. Any size can be made, as we make each table to order.
Our tops are 40mm thick and we can use turned (detachable), straight or tapered legs. The legs and rails are morticed, tenoned and dowelled and we use traditional hardwood "buttons" to fix the top.
Reclaimed Pine
We make our pine tables using old floorboards and joists reclaimed from demolished mills and houses around Britain. We leave some markings in the timber to give the tables in-built character and use Fiddes stripped pine wax as a finish. These tables take on a worn country farmhouse kitchen appearance with thorough use and are ideal for busy families.
New Oak
We machine our English character oak and select the timbers specifically to show pippy knots (tiny cluster knots), larger markings and interesting grain. Any colour or finish can be requested on the oak.
We have a selection of chairs including solid oak ladderback chairs, leather and oak diners and an excellent choice of traditional ash Windsor back chairs. |
